Wouldn't we all?
Please can you halp? I'd like to be 20 years younger, intellectual (Gok is halping out with other areas!) and need someone to hug at weekends.

Halp request #39 - finishing

While we're on writing, I have a question: not necessarily something for which I think there's a simple answer, but perhaps a cry for halp nonetheless:
I have trouble with final drafts. Or more to the point, I have trouble making a draft final. Anyone got any good ways of committing the work and letting go of it?

Halp request #38 - pretty much everything really

This post from the future thing is a bit disconcerting, but here goes - I would like some halp in any or all of the following: 1. Chapter Two of my book, 2. Finding the love of my life and falling madly in love and ending up happily ever and stuff, 3. Losing 40 lbs.
Thank you kindly, in advance, for your halp.
Warm regards,
Rimshot
Halp Request:
Dear Halp,
I've recently made the virtual acquaintance of a most lovely and diverse group of individuals via the world-wide-web and the blogisphere. However, a great many of them seem to have a world view 180 degrees opposite of my own (or at least farther than 90 degrees away in either arc).
While I very much enjoy a bit of verbal thrust and parry, I don't wish to alienate or offend these wonderful new friends, but I also don't want to have my own sensibilities offended (upon reflection, it's neigh impossible for me to be offended, so that would be a lesser concern).
How does one successfully tread the fine line?
Your friend,
Rimshot
